Bella lost her first tooth Sunday evening… with Danny’s help. It had been loose for a very long time. She talked all day, every day about having him pull it after supper; however, after supper, she would promptly vanish or have a ready excuse why it couldn’t be done.
Danny’s mother gave us this lovely tooth fairy that she made for Danny and his sister when they were children; Miss Tooth Fairy has pockets to hold teeth and a purse for money. Thankfully, her purse is small. With four children in the family, the tooth fairy could apply for bankruptcy if the teeth were too pricey.
This exciting milestone begged for a little extra fun “school work.” I had Bella write about losing her first tooth. Her writing is improving. She insists on being left alone to write on her own and only asks for help when completely stumped. I see some interesting spelling! 🙂
Did you “have” a tooth fairy for your children? How much did she pay per tooth?
