She came in with a wide open mouth and a tongue covered in mud. She wasn’t crying, but smiling.
She nodded her head and mumbled, “uh-huh!” when I told her she had a fun adventure. I cleaned her up and she waddled back outside with a banana. This wasn’t the first mud adventure, and it won’t be the last. My tough little girl knows that mud happens and you enjoy it.
